Our story dates back to the autumn of 2005.
That year the family’s eldelberry fields could not be harvested, the invested work and efforts were sadly in vain due to bad weather conditions and human errors. After the initial sense of failure and panick, we knew we needed to put the work in, and make the most of the situation. We hand picked and saved the remaining harvest, involving the youngsters of the family as well, everybody gathered to save the day. We made jam, juice, and what was left we took int o a nearby distillery to make pálinka- our very first batch had been born.

We were present during the whole process,
tasting, perfecting, and we decided on the spot that next season we would use all our harvest solely to make pálinka. These thoughts were the very first seeds, and the subsequent steps lead us to where we are now. a dream come true. We bought a beautiful spot at the end of a wine cellar row, where we built everything from scratch. Building a dream, bulding a brand- learning and growing in the process.
Finally, in the spring of 2010 under our family crest we launched the Eyeki Czimeres Pálinkaház- going from strength to strength since as venue for formal and informal gathering as well as pálinka tastings.
